Track Rollers & Cam Followers

Thick-walled rollers that run directly on rails, cams and guides: stud-type cam followers and yoke-type track rollers for conveyors, handling and automation.

Stud-type track roller cam follower with threaded shaft

Stud type or yoke type?

A track roller is a ready-to-fit bearing with a thick outer ring designed to roll directly on a track, rail or cam. The heavy outer ring withstands high radial loads and shock without deforming, while rollers or needles inside keep friction low.

There are two main families. Stud-type track rollers (cam followers) have an integral threaded stud, so they bolt straight into a machine frame or cam lever. Yoke-type track rollers have an inner ring and are mounted on a pin or shaft supported on both sides. The outer ring may be crowned to tolerate misalignment and reduce edge stress, or cylindrical for maximum contact on flat tracks. Versions with full-complement rollers, cages, seals or eccentric studs for height adjustment are also common.

Send us the designation of your existing roller, or the outside diameter, width, stud or bore size and outer ring profile, and we will quote a matching track roller.
